Winter Weather Notice: March 3, 2014
Dear NAEM Resource Management Conference Attendees:
As you know Washington, D.C. is getting some winter weather today. We are expecting it to clear by midafternoon today and travel delays to ease.
To that end we are going forward with the Best Practices in Corporate Energy, Waste and Water Management Conference, however we will be implementing a two hour start delay on Tuesday morning to give attendees extra time to travel to Washington.
- This will mean registration will open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and the first conference session will begin at 11 a.m.
- The conference will conclude at the same time on Wednesday.
We do not anticipate this, but should the Postal Service have any restrictions on accessing their space on Tuesday we will be meeting at the Capitol Skyline Hotel, which is about one mile from the USPS and where many of you are staying. If we need to make any changes to the meeting location we will notify you later this evening or by 7 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Please note, you can reach me today via email or my cell phone (202-246-6874) should you have any questions.
Thank you and we are looking forward to a great event here in D.C.,
P.S. Do bring a warm coat as we’ll still have cold temperatures throughout the week!
