Jolecia Marigny is a Global SHE Business Partner for AstraZeneca, a global biopharmaceutical company formed in 1999 and headquartered in London. With nearly 50,000 employees in 100 countries, AstraZeneca specializes in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of prescription medicines that make a meaningful difference in healthcare. AstraZeneca has a Global Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Strategy with targets and objectives to drive continuous improvement for ten years, 2011- 2020.
An experienced SHE professional, Ms. Marigny has over 20 years' experience in industry and consulting. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she was Executive Director, Environmental Policy Oversight at Constellation Energy located in Baltimore, MD and Director, Safety and Environmental Services for Entergy Corporation headquartered in New Orleans, LA.
Ms. Marigny is a graduate of Howard University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. She also holds a master’s degree in Geology and completed her Executive MBA Program at Texas A&M University. Ms. Marigny also serves on the Advisory Board for Straughan Environmental, Inc., an environmental planning, permitting and design firm located in Columbia, MD.
